Free Merry Mindset Workshop Dec 1st through lululemon on Zoom
The most wonderful time of year can also be one of the most stressful times of the year. The holidays are magical and sometimes overwhelming, filled with seemingly endless to-do lists, a packed schedule and lots of time spent with family. Triggers pop up that pull us down emotionally, keep us from being present and lead to anxiety. As much as we try, we can’t always control situations and people. Especially during the pandemic. But there’s one thing we can control: our mindset. If yours is negative (you’re not alone) and if you want it to be more positive, I can help.
Shifting our mindset (ie: a perspective on how we see or react to things ~ glass half full/half empty or challenge vs. opportunity type of stuff) is something we can do at any moment, it just takes awareness, willingness and practice. I have some tools to help you get into action to shift your mindset, so you can reach for the next best good feeling thought when things go out of whack. You can get back into the groove of feeling good.
I designed Merry Mindset, a 90-minute free online workshop, filled with simple tools and meditations to help you thrive during the holidays. You can reach for them at any moment to feel merrier and enjoy the holidays by experiencing them with a different mindset. Of course, these are great 365 a year, but the holidays sometimes call for an increase in self-care.
In this fun and practical workshop, you will:
-Identify stressors (people/places/things) and learn tools that take 30 seconds to 3 minutes to reduce stress and anxiety, stop predicting worst-case scenarios, and feel better in the present moment.
-Learn tools and simple meditations to tune your energy to a more positive frequency. You gain the power to reset your mindset, clear your energy and bring your good energy with you.
-Learn quick energy protection meditations so that your good mood isn’t brought down if you encounter chronic complainers or weary worriers. Find ways to own your voice in conversations that are uncomfortable.
-Set boundaries that prioritize your well-being and put feeling good first.
Having a Merry Mindset is not about slapping on a smile and faking your way through the holiday season. It’s about getting in touch with your thoughts/feelings and emotions and identifying tools that work for you to build resilience and feel empowered by doing self-reflective work. This includes feeling like there is enough time, enjoying what you are doing in the moment and feeling abundant no matter what your holiday budget is. You can do you and feel good, even in the midst of holiday chaos. You’ll leave knowing no one can mess with your Merry Mindset!
